If you live in Sacramento, or have at some point lived in Houston, or watch NBC's Olympic Badminton coverage, you've heard the voice of Jim Kozimor.
"Koz" has been here in California's capitol city for over a decade, and did an occasional -- and often brilliant -- talk show on KHTK here. He was also the voice of the WNBA's Sacramento Monarchs, until earlier today.
Koz was among those who fell victim of the economy today, as Maloof Sports & Entertainment (parent of the Monarchs and Sacramento Kings) laid off 1% of their workforce, including Koz.
Jim is married to Sandra Furlong, the former local TV reporter/personality. They have gorgeous daughters (they resemble Sandra). Your humble blogger has known them both for a long time, and is honored to call them friends.
