Shea Fisher is a 21-year old singer-songwriter from the Gold Coast area of Queensland, Australia. Now, I am a sucker for anyone who speaks Aussie without use of the word "Fosters." This youngster says a lot with her country songs, and she's just signed to a label co-founded by well-respected Music City producer James Stroud.Had a chance to meet Shea this week at KNCI Radio here in Sacramento. Charming girl, great voice...a younger Alison Krauss at times....and good songs. Check out her stuff -- that would be her music, dirt freaks -- on MySpace.
