When the forecast called for rain today, I cringed. Not because we don't need the rain -- the drought in California continues, virtually unabated. And, not because I don't want to save a few bucks on my water bill by not running my sprinklers tonight.
The rain -- and the thought thereof -- causes me to grow wary of California drivers. Drivers already known for their unrivaled ability to turn a freeway into a race track (with the requisite bumping, middle fingers and crashes), who thanks to the weather will be given the ability to screw everyone's day up with their lack of knowledge when it comes to driving on wet pavement.
If you happen to be out in the rain driving, SLOW YOUR ASS DOWN and watch out for the other guy...ME!
