ESPN's Dana Jacobson tips off the death of Mark "The Bird" Fidrych, following an apparent accident on his farm in Massachusetts. A friend found Fidrych under his pickup truck at about 1430 ET Monday afternoon. It's believed he was working on the vehicle when something went wrong.
Fidrych pitched for the Detroit Tigers from 1976 to 1980. He was 54.
